Allow us to open your minds for a second.
Suppose your well's Gas to
Liquid Ratio (GLR) falling below par. What are you to do?
Using Mega
Lift System's new Intermediate Landing Assembly (ILA) you
can now run two separate plungers in one well. If your GLR is
keeping your productivity down our ILA may be your answer. How does such a
thing work? On the open
cycle the bottom plunger rises and brings liquid
to the multi-stage tool, passing the liquid through the
multi-stage
tool's ball and seat. This liquid stays here until the well is
closed. The top plunger now falls through the liquid stored by
the ILA and awaits the open cycle to bring all of that liquid to
the surface. At the same time the ILA is storing liquid from the
bottom plunger waiting to start the process again. This is apposed to a conventional plunger which has to
deliver all of the liquid to the surface on the open cycle. Without
the Intermediate Landing Assembly, the GLR may not be strong
enough to get your contents to the surface reliably.
Benefits of Multi-Stage
Plunger Lift using the Intermediate Landing Assembly:
- Achieve greater productivity in
low-GLR wells
- Access deeper well depths due
to the "handoff" of liquid between the two plungers
- If your well has different zone
types of tubing, they can be separated by the ILA
- Different types of plungers can
be used to maximize efficiency in both zones |
