Our Chaser plungers work in essentially the same way as our conventional plungers (See How Conventional Plunger Lift Works), but with one HUGE advantage: the By-pass. On the closed cycle, the internal By-pass becomes open, which allows fluid to flow through the plunger, allowing for very rapid descent, creating less of a need for shut-in time. Once the Chaser plunger hits the Down-hole Spring, it's internal By-pass closes and the Chaser plunger acts like a Conventional plunger, creating an excellent seal for the liquid and gas to push the plunger up on the open cycle.
