| Our Spiral
SR-1 plungers are designed
with cleaning in mind. Spiral SR-1 plungers are aces at cleaning the
tubing in wells that have a history of paraffin and/or scale problems.
The smaller outer diameter and the weight of the inner mandrel,
assisted by the drag of the floating sleeve on the inner
diameter of the tubing, ensure that the by-pass stays open. This
allows you to have minimal shut-in time. When the plunger hits
the down-hole spring, the bottom sub closes the by-pass allowing
fluid and gas to push the plunger to the top. See also
